In PROJEKT CH+ we have set ourselves the following priorities:
Co-Design
Co-design is about incorporating as many different perspectives as possible into a concept. We particularly enjoy implementing this approach in a project with a connection to democracy. Digitalization brings many opportunities but also challenges for our society. These are best mastered together.
Digitalization
A democratic system needs educated, self-reflective people: old, and young – now and in a digitized future. As designers, entertainment media developers, and IT developers, we have a responsibility to use our unique knowledge of technology and psychology to support people in this digitized future.
Intuitive Access
In the CH+ project, we use the same theories you know from Instagram, Tinder, Candy Crush or Cookie Clicker to make political self-education more inviting. Our voting aid presents political information in an interactive, intuitive way.
Powerful Content
To ensure that the information in our election aid is of high quality, we work together with political partners. The CH+ project focuses on the interactive communication of existing information. The political content in the election aid is therefore provided to us by our partners. Our most important partners are smartvote and the parliamentary services.
From the Canton to
the Federal Government
The CH+ election aids are further developed at cantonal level from election to election. The project rounds are scientifically monitored. After the first deployment in the canton of Uri, we were on the road in Basel-Stadt, Neuchatel, Fribourg, Bern, Vaud and Zug.
Interdisciplinarity
Since the start of the project, we have been in close contact with experts from the fields of political education, civic tech, design research, software development and communication.
